Silchester Resdients Association regeneration sub-committee

Present: Derek White (Chair), Jo Poole (minutes), Mary White, Eman Yosry, Michael Jardine, John Murphy, Hannah Thomson
1) Derek White will contact Ruth Angel re: future consultations on the possible regeneration of Silchester.
2) Derek White will contact Ruth Angel and seek clarification about the ITLA brief and appointment process. We hope also to seek advice from an ITLA independently.
3) We will hold an event for residents interested in community action to trial a residents survey at 7pm on Thursday Jan 7th and identify willing volunteers to carry it out after noon on Saturday 16th January.
4) We will set up a website with funds from the Silchester Residents Association. Jo Poole will seek a quotation.
5) We will explore the possibility of setting up a forum or alliance to include all local RAs, especially those within the red line on the proposed regeneration map. This will be an informal meeting in early February.
6) There will be no RA Christmas party as we will not have our residents’ rooms until into the New Year. There will be a general meeting of the Silchester RA at 7pm on Thursday January 14th followed by a new years’ get together.
